Gingerbread & Good Company

Every December, decorating gingerbread houses with my siblings is one of my favourite traditions. There's something about the mess of icing, the friendly competition over who can keep their roof from sliding off, and just being together that makes the holiday season feel real. This year, I wanted to open that tradition up to the community and share it with more than just my own family table.

Join me on Monday, December 21st for an evening of gingerbread house building and decorating in the heart of Fernwood. Kits, icing, and candy will be provided, along with hot chocolate and hot apple cider to keep things cozy. Bring a friend and let's build something a little crooked and a lot of fun!

Whether you're a lifelong gingerbread perfectionist or you've never held a piping bag in your life, this one's for you. No experience needed, just the holiday spirit and a little healthy competitive spirit (...a prize for the best decorator may be in store)

• What's included in my ticket? A gingerbread house kit, icing, candy for decorating, and hot chocolate and hot apple cider.
• Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself and a friend if you'd like to bring one. Everything else is provided.
• Is this event alcohol-free? Yes, this is a sober event. We're keeping it cozy with hot chocolate and hot apple cider.
• Can I come alone? Absolutely. Come solo, come with friends, either way you'll have a table to decorate at and plenty of company.
• What if I have a food allergy? Let us know when you purchase your ticket and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
• Is there an age limit? This event is 16+.
• Can I take my gingerbread house home? Yes, boxes will be available so you can bring your creation home with you.
• What happens if my house falls apart? That's half the fun! We'll have extra icing on hand for repairs.
